Jonathan Saacks

General Partner

Jonathan (Jonny) joined Genesis Partners in 2005 and focuses on software investments. In addition, Jonny is responsible for fund operations. He is currently a board member at Comvaya, Correlix, Innovid, Neebula, PrimeSense, Postal Guard and was a board member at Yedda until its acquisition by AOL.

Prior to joining Genesis Partners, Jonny worked at Gemini Israel Funds as a principal where he focused on software investments and fund operations management. Before entering the venture capital arena, Jonny worked as head of sales, marketing and distribution at UK-based Waterlogic. Prior to this, Jonny joined Barak International Telecom Corp as one of the first employees, helping the company grow to 400 employees and overseeing product management, marketing and international partnerships. Jonny also served for ten years in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces commanding large operational teams in technology-related projects.

Jonny holds an MBA from Oxford University and a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University.
